Summertime photo contest 9-29-12

Alice Dubs of Ashby, Neb., won First place with this photo. "Summer time to me is my mom, Veda Raben at age 83 getting her first boat ride with her two grandsons, Will and Kelly Troester on Box Butte Reservior."

Jeanne Young of Wausa, Neb., won Second place with this photo of a sunset taken during the period of the Norden area fires. "The sunsets became more colorful with the smoke in the air."

Lacey Lobner of Lewellen, Neb., won Third place with this photo of "saluting the flags" taken at the Garden County Fair in Lewellen-Ranch rodeo stock contest.
