Rye Bread Dip

Doris Rempe, Lawrence, Neb.

2/3 c. Sour Cream

2/3 c. Mayonnaise

1-1/4 t. Beau Monde

1 Tbsp. Dried Onion Flakes

1 Tbsp. Parsley Flakes

1 t. Dill Weed

Round Loaf Rye Bread

Break up center of round loaf rye bread, forming a bowl shape container. Mix ingredients together and put in the hollow of the bread. Break the bread taken from center of bread into small pieces to be dipped into the dip.

Caramel Dip for Fruit

Janis Langenfelter, Plainview, Neb.

1 (8 oz) pkg. Cream Cheese, slightly softened

3/4 c. Brown Sugar

1/4 c. White Sugar

2 t. Vanilla

Mix with a fork and chill. Put a bowl in the middle of a platter of fruit for dipping.

Sloppy Joes

Chris Bryant, Johnson City, Tenn.

1-1/2 lbs. Ground Beef

1/2 c. Green Pepper, finely chopped

1 can Tomato Sauce

1 t. Worcestershire Sauce

1/2 c. Onion, chopped

1 c. Catsup

1/2 t. Garlic Salt

Cook beef until done. Drain well and add other ingredients. Simmer for 30 minutes. Serve on hamburger buns.
