Cornflake Cookies

Kay Bedlan, Lewellen, Neb.

1/2 c. Karo White Syrup

1/2 c. White Sugar

1 c. Crunchy Peanut Butter

2-1/4 c. Cornflakes

Heat syrup and sugar, stirring constantly, but do not boil. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together. Spoon by heaping spoonfuls on wax paper.

Sugared Oatmeal Cookies

Faith Harrold, Broken Bow, Neb.

1 c. Shortening, half butter

1 c. Sugar

2 Tbsp. Sweet Cream

1 t. Soda

1 t. Vanilla

1-1/2 c. Flour

1-1/2 c. Oatmeal

1/2 . Salt

Cream shortening and sugar. Add remaining ingredients. Shape into balls. Press down with greased glass bottom dipped in sugar. Bake 12-15 minutes in a 350 degree oven.

Fast No Bake Caramel Cookies

Sharon Raasch, Imperial, Neb.

2 c. Sugar Substitute

3/4 c. Margarine

1 (6 oz) can Evaporated Skim Milk

1 sm. pkg. Instant Sugar-Free Butterscotch Pudding Mix

2-1/2 c. Quick Oats

Combine first 3 ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add sugar-free pudding and oats. Remove from heat. Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper. Let cool 15 minutes
