Graham Cracker Cake

1 14- ounce grahm crackers, crushed
2 cups sugar
5 eggs, beaten
1 cup milk
1 cup roasted walnuts
2 tps baking powder
1 tps vanilla
1-1/2 cups butter, softened, divided
1 pound box powdered sugar
1 cup cocunut, if desired                                               
1-8 ounce can pineapple 
Grease and flour a tube or bunt cake pan.  Mix crackers,sugar,eggs milk,cocunut, walnuts, baking powder, vanilla,and 1cup butter together.  Do not use electric mixer.  Pour into prepared pan. bake 1-1/2 hours at 300 F. Do not preheat oven.  While cake is baking, mix remaining butter,pineapple and powdered sugar. Pour over warm cake.
