1 pkg. white cake mix
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cherry
Jell-O
2 c. boiling water
1 pint whipping cream (or 1 carton whipped topping)
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Prepare cake according to directions. Bake in a 9-by-13-inch pan. A few minutes before cake is done baking, dissolve Jell-O in boiling water. Remove cake from oven.

Using a large fork, poke holes all over the cake, making sure they go through to the bottom of the pan. Pour Jell-O over hot cake and chill until cold.

Whip the cream (or use topping) Spread on top of cake. Top with cherry pie filling.
