Chicken Tostadas

8 Tostada shells
2 Chicken breasts, skinned and boned
1/4 c. Green onion, sliced
2 Tbsp. Butter or margarine
1 (8 oz) can Tomato sauce
1 pkg. Taco seasoning mix
2 c. Lettuce, shredded
2 Tomatoes, chopped
1 c. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
Avocado slices
Taco sauce
Heat tostada shells and keep warm.
Cut chicken into thin strips and cook with green onion in butter until chicken in browned.
Add tomato sauce and taco seasoning mix.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Place tostada shells on a plate and spoon on chicken mixture.
Top with lettuce, tomato, cheese and avocado slices.
Drizzle with taco sauce.
