Chas Berke is January Aggie of the Month for NCTA

CURTIS, Neb. – Chas Berke of Eustis, Neb., is NCTA’s January Aggie of the Month.

Chas completed her certificate in Horticulture in December and is now pursuing her AAS in Horticulture in the Landscape/Nursery Option. Horticulture faculty recognize Chas as a great student and appreciate her efforts to complete neat work and note that she takes pride in her work, never being satisfied with the mediocre.

She is also the President of the Horticulture Club and takes a very active role in calling, organizing, and running meetings.

Horticulture division chair Lance Stott notes, “She provides great leadership and enthusiasm and is always willing to go the extra mile to make Horticulture better and more fun at NCTA.”

Chas was also recently recognized for receiving her Nebraska Certified Nurseryman certification from the Nebraska Nursery and Landscape Association at their annual meeting held the first part of January as part of the Green Expo in Council Bluffs, Iowa. This is a great honor for her.

She is acknowledged as a deserving student and is recognized for her efforts to do great work and represent NCTA in a positive way.
