New E85 station opens in Colorado

The Colorado Corn Growers Association, the Governor's Biofuels Coalition, Western Convenience Stores and Southern Colorado Clean Cities partnered in the opening of a new E85 station in Pueblo last week. It was the fifth station selling E85 in Pueblo.

E85 contains 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline. The ethanol portion is made from home-grown, renewable biomass that offers significant environmental benefits over the petroleum-based alternative. Consumers who drive Flex-Fuel Vehicles can use any combination of E85 and gasoline.

There are now more than 100 stations open in Colorado and selling biofuels with more under construction. For more information, go to www.coloradocorn.com.
