CSU student, Eaton grad, wins national livestock judging contest

Ben Fritz was the second high individual overall at the 104th National Collegiate Livestock Judging Contest, which was conducted in conjunction with the North American International Livestock Exhibition in Louisville, Ky.

Fritz, a senior at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, has judged with the CSU Livestock Judging Team this year, where he has been recognized at several competitions, including taking high individual awards last spring at the Iowa Beef Expo.

He is a 2006 Eaton High School graduate, and is an agricultural business major at CSU. He is the son of Steve and Julianne Fritz of rural Eaton.
