National Western Stock Show attendance down slightly in '10



DENVER — Attendance at the 104th National Western Stock Show was 633,003, down 1.6 percent from the 643,100 for the 2009 show.

The 16 day event, Jan. 9-24, included 22 Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association rodeos, three Professional Bull Ring bull riding events, two Wild West Shows, two Mexican Rodeos, the Martin Luther King, Jr. African American Heritage Rodeo, two performances of An Evening of Dancing Horses, 349 trade show exhibitors, world champion draft Horses, a record number of more than 15,000 livestock animals for sale and show, Ag Adventure at Children's Ranchland, pony rides, interactive activities for kids, and more.
