Leonard Pribil, 90, of O’Neill, Neb., passed away February 26, 2013, at Avera St. Anthony’s Hospital in O’Neill, Neb.
He was born December 21, 1922, in O’Neill, Neb., to Frank Jr. and Mary (Sobotka) Pribil. He married Ruth Clemens on February 12, 1945 in Atkinson, Neb.
Leonard was a rancher, but he was also owner of Pribil Feed and Oil. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, and the Knights of Columbus. Leonard also served on the rural fire board and rural school board.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; five children, Patricia Conway, William Pribil and wife LouAnn, Ann Storjohann and husband Thomas, Karen Slaymaker and husband Rick, all of O’Neill, Neb., and Sandra Bogue and husband David, of Norfolk, Neb.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and one sister, Ann Knower of Massachusetts.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law Ed Conway, three sisters and three brothers.
Memorial services were held March 4, 2013, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in O’Neill, Neb.
Burial was in the O’Neill cemetery.

Lillian Setlik, 85, of Ord, Neb., passed away March 15, 2013 at Valley County Health System in Ord, Neb.
She was born April 11, 1927, on the family farm in Valley County to Frank and Agnes (Bruha) Volf.
She was united in marriage to Theodore Setlik on February 19, 1946, at St. Mary’s Church in Elyria, Neb. The couple lived and farmed in Valley County west of Ord, Neb.
Her husband passed away at the young age of 37 years. Lillian moved into Ord, Neb., where she worked at several jobs, the last being at Ord Memorial Chapel where she retired.
She took a lot of pride in working in her yard, crocheting, trying new recipes and surfing the internet to find more.
Lillian was a member of the Crimson Angels and Happy Circle Extension Club. She volunteered at Grandview, Valley County Nursing Home and for the Bloodmobile.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in law, Larry and Chrystine Setlik of Hastings, Neb.; a daughter and son-in-law Yvonne and Jim Bodyfield of Ericson, Neb.; five grandsons that were her pride and joy, Lance Setlik of Hastings, Neb., T.J. Setlik and wife Kaylee of Denver, Colo., Mark Bodyfield of Omaha, Neb., Jeff Bodyfield and wife Dawn of Omaha, Neb., Ryan Bodyfield and fiancé, Kasi Nelson of Ericson, Neb.; one great-granddaughter, Avery Bodyfield of Omaha, Neb., of whom she enjoyed many pictures, visits and activity updates in her final days; two sisters, Dorothy Setlik of Grand Island, Neb., and Alice Hulinsky of Gering, Neb.; four sisters-in-law, Maxine Volf of Ord, Neb., Bernice Vodehnal of Loup City, Neb., Minnie Setlik of Lincoln, Neb., and Dorothy Setlik of Sacrament, Calif., and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore; mother and father, one brother, Edwin Volf; two sisters, Emma Hulinsky and Lucy Vanpola; and infant twin siblings.
Lillian’s request was to be cremated and have a private family graveside service held at a later date in the Ord City Cemetery.

Cleo Albert Jaeger
Cleo Albert Jaeger, 88, of Hastings, Neb., formerly of Clay Center, Neb., passed away March 18, 2013, at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Village in Hastings, Neb.
He was born July 23, 1924, in Imperial, Neb., to Clayton and Elsie (Kruse) Jaeger.
Cleo received his education in Imperial, Neb. On November 17, 1946, he married Dorothy A. Sample and to this union four children were born. He was employed at the Clay Center Co-op Elevator and farmed at the MARC retiring in 1990.
Cleo was very active with Old Trusty Days as a volunteer and also helped start the Clay Center Senior Center. He enjoyed woodworking, square dancing, playing cards and bowling.
He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Laura Jaeger of Lincoln, Neb.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Judy Doerr of Beatrice, Neb., Sue and Andy Anderson of Hastings, Neb., Sandy and Jack Yilk of Wood River, Neb.; a sister, Verneal Furst of Dunnellon, Fla.; and a brother and sister-in-law, Dwight and Alorice Jaeger of Hastings, Neb.; grandchildren, Clayton Jaeger, Barton Jaeger, Sally Jaeger, Troy Doerr, Dustin Anderson, Matthew (Danielle) Anderson, Tera (Jason) Gericke, Joshua Yilk and Trevor Yilk; four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, on October 1, 2012.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Milton Jaeger.
Memorial services were held March 23, 2013 at United Church of Christ in Clay Center, Neb.
Burial was in the Clay Center Cemetery.
