Wanda Pollock

Wanda L. Pollock passed away at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colo., May 19, 2014.

Wanda was born in Balko, Okla., to Ona (Bowlby) Ray and George Ray Sr.

Wanda Moved to Delta, Colo., when she was 4-years-old, and attended schools from elementary through high school.

Wanda married Avery Pollock, the love of her live, in 1947. They built their home in Austin and lived there for the next 64 years until Avery passed away in 2011.

Wanda and Avery were charter members of the Eckert Presbyterian Church for all those years.

Wanda was employed as a bookkeeper and a rural mail delivery person. Wanda had been living with her daughter Cheryl and husband Cam Paterson in Loveland, Colo.

She is survived by her brother Don Ray, her son Danny (Diana) Pollock and her daughter Cheryl (Cam) Paterson, grandchildren Cheyennia Pollock, Michelle Petrillo, Josh Paterson, Cameron Paterson, and Aaron Paterson, many nieces and one nephew, and seven great grandchildren.

Her parents preceded her in death, as did her husband Avery, sister Dorothy Ray and brothers Clyde Ray and George Ray.

Services were held May 31, 2014 at the Eckert Presbyterian Church with inurnment at the Eckert Cemetery.

Amanda Nora “Mandy” Rumble

Mandy Rumble, 44, of Olathe, Colo., passed away June 1, 2014 at her home in Olathe.

Amanda Nora “Mandy” Doloughan was born August 18, 1969, to William John and Claire M. (Garrett) Doloughan in Mombasa, Kenya, East Africa.

Amanda spent the first six years of her life in Mombasa, Kenya, East Africa before moving to New Zealand for two years and then moving to the United States.

Mandy graduated from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, Calif., with a degree in Business. She also studied nursing.

She was a Christian.

Mandy loved her children and spending time with them. She liked doing family things. She enjoyed riding horses.

Among survivors is the love of her life her husband: Todd A. Rumble of Olathe, Colo.; her son: Tyler Rumble of Olathe, Colo., and her daughter: Josie Rumble of Olathe, Colo.; her mother; Claire Doloughan Hannan of Tasmania, Australia; two brothers and their wives’: Kerry and Robyn Doloughan of Spokane, Wash., and Rory and Cassie Doloughan of Salmon, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her father William John Doloughan and her grandmother Dorothy Garrett and Todd’s grandfather, Donald Denham.

Services were held on June 6, 2014, at the Delta High School.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Mandy’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 2754 Compass Drive, Suite 328, Grand Junction, Colo., 81506.
