Beulah Ferne Bohlender
Beulah Ferne Bohlender, 99, of Greeley, Colo., (formerly of La Salle, Colo.), passed away at Bonell Good Samaritan on August 16, 2014.
Beulah was born in the winter of 1914 in Center, Colo., to Fred and Christina (Schlect) Weigand.
She married Adolph Bohlender on March 14, 1935, in Denver, Colo. He died February 16, 1997.
Beulah attended Beebe Draw School through the 8th grade. She was a homemaker and helped with the farm and ranch south east of La Salle, Colo.
Beulah was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics and silk flower arranging.
She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and close family friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Fred and Roosevelt Weigand, and sisters Helen Moser, Sarah Klein, Emma Klein and Rachel Kaufman.
Services were held August 22, 2014, at the Allnutt Macy Chapel. Interment at Linn Grove Cemetery.

Mavis Haselbush, 73, of Longmont, Colo., passed away August 20, 2014 from cancer, surrounded by family at their home.
She was born May 26, 1941 in Vinton, Iowa to Orlo and Clara (Koster) Meyer.
Mavis moved to Longmont in 1950 from Colorado Springs, Colo. She graduated from Longmont High School in 1959.
Mavis married William “Bill” Haselbush September 2, 1960 in Longmont.
She had a strong Christian faith, honoring God by the way she loved and cared for everyone she met.
She was a homemaker and also worked in food service for St. Vrain Valley School District, then as a sales clerk for JC Penny’s for many years. Mavis was a volunteer at Longmont United Hospital, Boulder County Hospice and a Stephen Minister. She enjoyed time with her family and grandkids and loved music and her chickens.
Mavis is survived by her husband William “Bill” Haselbush, son Todd Haselbush and wife Jill, two daughters Trudy Coats and husband Bob and Tonya Haselbush, two brothers Paul Meyer and wife Joan and Ralph Meyer and wife Karen, seven grandchildren; Troy, Travis, Fawn, Shayla, Theo, Kendick, and Clara and three great granddaughters; Abygale, Piper and Alyssa.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A fellowship gathering to greet the family will be 7-8:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 24, at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 25, 2014 at Foothills Gardens of Memory Cemetery. A reception will follow the graveside service at Hygiene United Methodist Church.
