March 10th, 2012, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in Curtis, Neb. All abilities ages 8+ welcome. Students must pre-register to participate and there are limited spots available. Free one-day rodeo day camps offer instruction in bareback, saddle bronc and bull riding. Participants will learn about safety techniques, learn the correct spurring moves, have riding equipment checked/fixed, learn chute procedures, handling livestock, working with pickup men and an overall review of the rodeo business. There will be a judges clinic on Sunday, February 19th in Casper, Wyo., and another on Sunday, February 26th in Hays, Kan., at 8 a.m. CT. at the Ramada Inn. The instructor will be Paul Cleveland. For more information, contact Paul at (308) 726-5652.
