9 Health Fair to be held in Fort Lupton April 20
Four area Lions Clubs will be sponsoring the annual 9 Health Fair on Saturday, April 20, at Fort Lupton High School, located at 530 Reynolds St. The event will be held in the high school commons from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
FREE available screenings include:
– Blood pressure
– Vision and glaucoma
– Lung capacity
– Foot disorders
– Stress screenings
Screenings which will require a FEE include:
– Blood chemistry tests – $30
– Blood PSA – $25
– Colorectal self-test – $5
Anyone wishing to have blood work done should FAST for 12 hours PRIOR to coming to the Health Fair.
“Seats for Kids” will be back with their free 10-15 minute drive-through service. Child car seats will be examined for safety and recalls, and for the correct type for the size of child using it.
Child immunizations will be available for children up to age 18; children must be accompanied by parent or guardian to be given immunizations. Adult immunizations will also be available. The Lions Eyeglass Mailbox will also be available where the public can drop off used eyeglasses.
Transportation, if needed, will be available for participants of the Tri-Town, Lochbuie, Fort Lupton and Platteville communities. Lions Clubs from each of those communities are sponsoring the event.
