Banana-Walnut Bread | Kay Bedlan – Lewellen, Neb.
1 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
2 1/2 c. white flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream together sugar, shortening, eggs and bananas.
Add flour, soda and salt and mix well
Add walnuts and mix well.
Pour into a well-greased and floured loaf pan.
Bake for 1 hour.
