From weekend rancher to the most seasoned cowboy, our interactions with cattle can either be an enjoyable or unpleasant experience for the cattle, and consequently ourselves. A nationally acclaimed Stockmanship & Stewardship BQA presentation will be hosted May 4th & 5th (May 4th-Stockmanship on Foot/May 5th-Cowhorse Clinic) by Frasier Farms in Last Chance, CO. This is a unique chance to learn strategies for gathering cattle from pasture, receiving cattle, low stress cattle handling, and sorting and processing techniques. Friday’s events will be open to everyone with an evening BBQ and social, and Saturday’s horsemanship clinic will be on a first come RSVP availability…
