Barn Media 6-1-12: Taking Colorado’s 4H to the Extreme in Ft Collins This Month

The 2012 Colorado State 4-H Conference will be held June 19-21 on the Colorado State University Campus in Fort Collins, CO. State 4-H Conference provides great training and an opportunity for 4-H members, leaders, and Extension agents to strengthen their leadership skills. It also hosts the following state contests including: Livestock Bowl, Livestock Judging, Consumer Choices, Consumer Bowl, Horse Bowl, Horse Judging, Hippology, Horse Demonstration and Public Speaking, Prepared Speech, Impromptu Speech, and Parliamentary Procedure…

Brian Allmer has been in agriculture broadcasting since 2005, and has lived in Northeastern Colorado his entire life. Allmer is dedicated to covering the agriculture issues that those involved in agriculture face today in the United States and in Colorado.

Allmer currently lives on a working family farm and ranch in Northeastern Colorado, with his two children, Samantha and TJ and his lovely wife, Connie. Allmer’s lifelong goal is to promote agriculture in a positive way and to shine the light along that journey on the hard-working young women and men involved in the FFA and in 4-H.
