Barn Media 6-24-10: CO Corn Growers Take Part in RMNP Air Quality Hearing

The Colorado Corn Growers Association was recently involved in a Colorado Air quality control hearing. CCGA Executive Director Mark Sponslor says the hearing – with the National Park Service, Colorado Health Department and EPA – was for discussion of a plan to regulate nitrogen deposition in Rocky Mountain National Park. Sponslor says discussion has included key players from the ag industry to ensure regulations are crafted and based on scientific facts.
