Be a teen clerk at the Colorado State Fair
Youth who are 14 and over may apply to be a teen clerk at the Colorado State Fair. As a teen clerk, youth are responsible to assist with the entering and judging of home economics, general and natural resources projects. Youth can also help with one of the contests such as Demonstrations, Creative Cooks and Cake Decorating. They may also volunteer to work the 4-H information booth.
As a teen clerk during judging, youth will record entry information on each project entered, arrange entries together according to classes, present entries to the judge as needed, record comments on comment sheets, record all ribbon and placing designations and assist with the display.
Applications are now available. They are due to the State 4-H Office by August 1.
