Beef promotion grant funds are available
Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska Beef Council is offering a new program from the 2008-2009 fiscal year to aid local organizations in their beef promotion efforts through the use of Beef Checkoff dollars. A maximum of $1,000 will be granted to organizations that complete a form, follow guidelines set forth for beef promotions and will be reimbursed by invoice/receipt after the promotion is held.
“There are a number of organizations across the state that already promote beef and some who might be interested in sharing the good news about beef and these grants will make it possible,” said Ann Marie Bosshamer, Executive Director. The form and guidelines can be found on the homepage of the http://www.nebeef.org website. Applications will be reviewed and awarded based on a set of criteria.
For more information on this program, log on to the website or call the Nebraska Beef Council office at (800) 421-5326.
