"Big Red Wrap-Up" returns to NET television schedule
LINCOLN, Neb. – As the Husker football team opens its 2011 season, including entering the Big Ten Conference, NET Television’s popular series “Big Red Wrap-Up” will be right there to keep Nebraska fans updated on all of the Huskers’ gridiron action and news.
As the only live, viewer call-in Husker sports program in Nebraska, “Big Red Wrap-Up” returns for another season of analysis and highlights of Husker football games, plus recruiting insights and special guests.
Hosted by Kevin Kugler with analysis from Adrian Fiala, the series airs live each Tuesday at 7 p.m. and again at 10 p.m. CT, on NET1 and NET-HD, beginning with a pre-season special on Aug. 30. The series is regularly rebroadcast on NET2 at 7 p.m. CT the following Wednesdays and 6 p.m. CT the following Saturdays.
“Big Red Wrap-Up” offers an overview of the previous week’s Husker football game, including video highlights and a look at the game statistics, weekly football rankings and Big Ten Conference scores and standings. Viewers can submit questions to Kugler, Fiala and their guests by phone and e-mail, as well as by using Facebook and Twitter.
Also each week, HuskerOnline’s Sean Callahan reports on the latest recruiting news, taking a closer look at the top high school prospects who might become Huskers.
“Big Red Wrap-Up” will also be web cast live in Flash on NET’s website (netNebraska.org). Webcasting of the series is a free service of NET.
