Burger Bashes to celebrate Beef Month
KEARNEY, Neb. – The 8th Annual Burger Bashes will be held on May 20th, 21st, and 22nd and the Nebraska Beef Council is looking for it to be another huge success again this year! Six towns and retailers from across the state of Nebraska are chosen each year to host the Burger Bashes. This year we will be going to Arvid’s Foodtown in Wisner and Wagner’s Super Market in Arapahoe on Wednesday, May 20th; Henderson’s IGA in Valentine and The Grocery Kart in Broken Bow on Thursday, May 21st; and Panhandle Co-op in Scottsbluff and Thriftway Market in Neligh on Friday, May 22nd.
Each Burger Bash will feature lunch consisting of a burger, chips, and pop for only $1, great savings on beef specials, and an enthusiastic 2 hour radio remote from a local radio station. In getting the Memorial Day weekend and summer grilling season kicked off, we would like to invite everyone out to join us for the Burger Bashes and help us to celebrate an All-Star Summer with Beef!
