Calving & Lambing Photo Contest winners for 4-17-10

We had five entries in the Fence Post – Plains Edition’s Calving and Lambing Photo Contest and we appreciate the efforts that people put into their favorite photos.
After careful consideration we came up with three winning entries:
• 1st Place
($25 winner) – Elaine Potmesil of Alliance, Neb. Her photo (featured on the cover of this week’s Fence Post-Plains Edition) pictured a cow/calf pair.
• 2nd Place
($15 winner) – Muriel Bonsall of Minneola, Kan. Her photo features one of their soon-to-be bucking bulls.
• 3rd Place
($10 winner) – Bessie Dearmont of Burwell, Neb. Her photo portrays calving season’s diversity.
