Celebrating our 15th Anniversary at the Fence Post – Plains Edition!
To our Fence Post friends,
We are celebrating 15 years of publication and I would like to personally thank each of you. It has been incredible to think back to all of the photos, articles, recipes, and advertising plus more you have provided over the past 15 years.
Many of you have been with us since the very first issue. Your commitment shows through strongly with the quality of information from each of your areas … great people connecting communities.
I would also like to thank our columnists, cartoonists and puzzle creators – Baxter Black, Thayne Cozart, Lee Pitts, Gwen Petersen, Ryan Taylor, Susan Davis, “Mad” Jack Hanks, Jerry Palen, Dee Odell and Jodi Jill Features. You each provide your own wisdom, sense of humor, and perspective on rural America. From your contributions, we feel as if we know you and your families. You have become part of our weekly enjoyment.
Another community of folks we truly are connected with are the rodeo and barrel racing associations. A special thank you to all of the secretaries and directors of the NHSRA, Nebraska 4-D Barrel and NBHA NE05 associations. You are the glue that keeps everything together for your members and are very much appreciated.
The extension service has provided many articles and is dedicated to all of us involved in Nebraska agriculture. They keep us informed through excellent workshops, trainings and opportunities for growth statewide. We are fortunate to have their expertise available to us on an ongoing basis.
A special thank you to all of our advertisers. Your support is greatly valued and necessary for our livelihoods on our farms and ranches in the Midwest. This special 15th anniversary issue will feature some of our charter advertisers in the Customer Spotlights throughout the paper.
Our journey the past 15 years has been a fun and enjoyable experience. It is with heartfelt excitement that I look forward to the next 15 years and beyond.
Thanks again for supporting the Fence Post. As always, if you have any questions, suggestions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to call us at 1-800-905-2599.
