Colorado 4-H Foundation announces winner of Ford truck raffle
A truck raffle benefiting the Colorado 4-H Foundation that lasted over seven months has come to a close.
Last Saturday, the raffle winner was awarded a new Ford F-150 SuperCrew truck. The raffle raised $157,000 for county and state 4-H programs to be used for education and leadership activities. The truck was provided by local Ford stores, and is valued at $42,000.
The winner, Samuel Naber, of Canon City, Colo., was holding the winning ticket drawn at the Wayne Cooley Memorial 4-H Golf Tournament held at The Bridges Golf Club in Montrose, Colo., on Sept. 26. Naber, an Army recruiter who has seen five overseas deployments, bought the tickets to support the Westcliff 4-H chapter.
In addition to the truck, cash prizes also were awarded across the state.
