Meat In Logan County: join Sterling Livestock Commission Company for this huge event at the Logan County Fairgrounds on March 16 for a meal, beer, an auctioneer contest, vendors, a live auction and a slate of speakers. Event begins at 11 a.m. with lunch, auction at 12:15, contest at 1 p.m.

Mesa County Meat In on March 16 at the Mesa County Fairgrounds. Free hamburger feed from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Industry vendors, live music, lots of fun for the whole family.



Meat Your Producers Day: Black Mesa Cattlewomen and Delta County Livestock Association will be serving free burgers on March 16 to anyone who shows up from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Our set up will be at the Maloney House at the Delta County Fairgrounds in Hotchkiss. Drive-through will be available, or you’re welcome to sit down and visit with some local producers. Enjoy bison chili at Roger’s Mesa store from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. or burgers at Route 65 in Eckert.

March 18-23 is Yuma County Ag Week.

March 18 is Crop Producers Day, Yuma County Fairgrounds concession building, 10 a.m., 21st Century Equipment. A 21st century exhibit trailer will be available for public viewing at the fairgrounds for the day. At 10:30 a.m. Roy Pfaltzgraff will be sharing about his regenerative farming practices and his innovation with dryland farming practices. And 11:30 a.m. Rachel Seedorf with Aero Applicators will be available.

March 19 is Water Day at the Yuma County Fairgrounds concession building. At 9 a.m. Raj Khosla, Ph d. will talk about Revolutionizing Water and Agriculture: Harnessing Precision and Innovation and at 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Women in ag Breakfast with Guest Speaker Rachel Gabel.

Steamboat/Yampa Valley Agweek: Community Agriculture Alliance events include Celebrate Ag Breakfast on March 20 from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. at the Steamboat Community Center. Visit communityagalliance.org for more information and to register.

March 20 is Future of Ag Day, 8-11 a.m. Career Fair at Wray Schools. Ag Olympics led by the 4-H and FFA officers at all schools.

March 21 is Livestock Day, 2 p.m. Livestock Emergency Preparedness Roundtable, Yuma County


March 22 is Ag Industry Day with a producers’ breakfast in Yuma served by local FFA members at the fairgrounds concession building from 7 a.m.-9 a.m. Presentation on Food Summit from Colorado State University Extension starting at 8 a.m. Producers Breakfast in Wray served by local FFA members at the Wray Roundhouse from 8 a.m.-10 a.m. At 10:15 a.m. discussion on Mental Health from CSU Extension and Centennial Mental Health.

On March 23 free community BBQ in honor of Meat In Day at the Skyview Garage in Yuma from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. featuring Local Vendor Booths.

Moffat County Ag Promotional Event from 10-2 in downtown Craig on March 23. Join the event for vendors, local shops, beef bundle drawing, and purchase your T-shirts and hats for the event. 

Eastern Plains Cowbelles are hosting a vendor fair, free beef meal on March 23 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds in Hugo.

Crowley County Meat In is March 23 at Big Blue in Ordway for speakers, a beef meal and fellowship.

Celebrate Ag Day on March 23 with Delta CattleWomen at Sisson’s Feed and Ranch in Delta with free burgers, chips and drinks to the first 200 participants. Enjoy corn hole, a small petting zoo, tractor, and more.
