Composting Workshop planned Sept. 20

Have you ever wanted to learn how to set up a compost bin to improve the soil quality in your garden? Here is your chance! A composting workshop is being offered to the general public and Extension Master Gardeners on September 20th in North Platte, Neb.

This workshop will start at 7:00 p.m., at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln West Central Research and Extension Center, 402 W. State Farm Road, in North Platte.

Participants will learn the benefits of composting plant materials, starting a compost bin, and utilizing compost in the garden and landscape.

Current Master Gardeners can attend this program free of charge.
