Crow Valley Campground opens in northeast Weld County
BRIGGSDALE – The Crow Valley Campground has been opened by the U.S. Forest Service.
The campground, on Weld County Road 77 just north of Colo. 14, is the only development campground on the Pawnee National Grassland of northeast Weld. The main Off-Highway Vehicle area on the grassland has been closed for the season in order to help minimize disturbance to wildlife and cattle and reduce soil erosion.
The campground is available for those wishing to explore the grassland, which cover 193,000 acres in northeast Weld.
