CSU names new ag economics chairman
FORT COLLINS – A professor at Oregon State University has been named to head up the Colorado State University Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics.
Gregory Perry will start July 15 and will replace Stephen Davis, who has been the department chairman for the past six years. He will return to a full-time focus on teaching and research, according to a news release from CSU Friday.
Perry has been an interim department head at the Corvallis, Ore., university for about three years. His additional posts at OSU focused on programs for graduate and undergraduate students and he was responsible for starting an international studies program in Chile.

“He is an important addition to our leadership team as the college of agricultural sciences addresses the complex, local an global issues in agriculture and resource economics,” Beyrouty said in the news release.
