EPA to exempt CAFOs from reporting manure gases
The Environmental Protection Agency has proposed a rule to exempt concentrated animal feeding operations known as CAFOs from reporting gases that come from manure.
EPA Acting Administrator Andrew Wheeler signed the rule in Kansas, but environmental groups have also sued to force EPA to require farms to report emissions to state and local officials, the Food & Environment Reporting Network said.
