Favortie Plains Recipes for 7-11-09

1 box yellow cake mix

1 c. milk



1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted

3 eggs



1 pouch Betty Crocker chocolate chip cookie mix

1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened

1 egg

1 container chocolate frosting

Heat oven to 350˚. Generously grease and lightly flour bottom only of 9×13″ pan. In large bowl, beat dry cake mix, milk, melted butter and 3 eggs with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, beat on medium speed 2 minutes. Pour into pan. Make cookie mix as directed on pouch using softened butter and 1 egg. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls evenly over batter in pan. Bake 60-63 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Run knife around sides of pan to loosen cake. Cool completely. Spread frosting over top of cake. Can use a 15x10x1: pan. Bake 35-40 minutes.
