FFA Chapter announces first livestock sale
On April 7, 2007, the Weld Central FFA Chapter will be holding their first annual Livestock Sale. The sale will be located at the Southeast Weld County Fair Grounds, in Keenesburg, Colo., and will begin at 6 p.m.
There will be a variety of breeders who have had great success in the past with their livestock prospects that will be bringing show quality lambs, goats, and swine to the sale.
This will be a great opportunity for all 4-H and FFA members to get involved with these organizations and a chance to start their 2007 4-H or FFA project. There will be 12 producers that will be bringing livestock to the sale, as well as feed promotions and information offered by the Whip n’ Spur, one of the local feed and supply stores.
Before the sale, we will be having a Pork BBQ dinner for any of the interested buyers attending the sale from 4 to 6 p.m. During this time any interested buyers will also be able to look at the livestock that will be sold by auctioneer Roland Wagner.
