FFA News from Fruita, Colo.

The Fruita FFA chapter had an amazing year at the Mesa County Fair.

We had various members show proudly in their official FFA jackets. We also had multiple champion winners: Korbin Roehm won five grand champion titles — grand champion market steer, grand champion home grown market steer, grand champion best of Mesa County, reserve grand champion market swine, and reserve grand champion senior swine showman.

Jenna Kerbs won two grand champion titles — grand champion overall market lamb and grand champion senior lamb grand champion showman.

The Fruita FFA also had Dean VanWinkle and Coby Hudson each with a reserve grand champion homegrown animal.

The FFA has also accomplished two national SAE finalists, Shelby Fredrickson and Harley Bittle.

The Fruita FFA has and continues to commit hours of leadership and service within agriculture and the community. We congratulate all and look forward to an amazing year with our many members.
