Hayes County 4-H and FFA Livestock Judging Contest planned May 12

Southwest Nebraska residents of all ages are invited to participate in the Hayes County 4-H & FFA Livestock Judging Contest to be held on May 12, 2011, at the Hayes County Fairgrounds in Hayes Center, Neb. The evening begins with registration from 4:30-5:30 p.m. CT, judging will begin at 5:30 p.m. CT.

The contest will include six classes of livestock. Ribbons will be awarded to the top 10 individuals in each of the four age divisions – Junior, Intermediate, Senior and Adult as well as a plaque for the high point judge in each age division. Pre-4-H’ers will receive participation ribbons.

The contest is co-sponsored by the Hayes County 4-H Council and the Hayes Center FFA Chapter.
