Hearts & Horses fund-raiser March 28 benefits Freedom Reigns program
Hearts and Horses Therapeutic Riding Center will be adding yet another program in order to serve the community. “Freedom Reigns” is a program that is dedicated to facilitating discovery, hope, healing and personal recovery for adults, teens, children, families and organizations through Equine Facilitated Learning and Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy.
The first session, March 28 through May 16, will begin with an eight-week Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy support group for women who want to open up new possibilities in their lives with a fresh perspective. It is designed to help women become more self-aware while making empowered choices. Issues such as anxiety, depression, co-dependency, grief and anger are addressed and positively transformed into strengths. Hearts and Horses hopes to help many individuals through this Freedom Reigns program.
As always, Hearts and Horses wants to continue offering services to everyone regardless of ability to pay.
We will be having a Pancake Breakfast fundraiser at Applebee’s in Loveland on March 28th from 8 to 10 a.m. Tickets are on sale now, $7 for adults and $5 for children. If you are interested in tickets you can buy them at Hearts and Horses or at the door the day of the event. All funds raised will go toward scholarships for the Freedom Reigns programs.
