Hoehne FFA attended 81st National FFA Convention
Hoehne FFA Reporter
Members of the Hoehne FFA Chapter, along with seven other chapters in the San Isabel District, attended the 81st National FFA Convention held in Indianapolis, Indiana on October
During the convention, members were able to attend sessions where they heard inspirational speakers, who influenced the members. Members also heard retiring remarks from the FFA National Officers, and were able to witness the National Officer election. At the convention, members attended a career show where companies such as CAT, John Deere, Ford, Dodge, and many more were there promoting their companies and new ideas. Also within the career show were many different college booths that students were able to explore and learn more about. Over 57,000 members and guests were present at the convention.
The San Isabel District members were also able to take in the sites. They took time to visit the Indianapolis Speedway museum and track, Indiana Downs, the St. Louis Arch and the National FFA Center. Indiana Downs honored the San Isabel FFA District by naming a race the San Isabel FFA District Futurity. Following that race the members watched the rest of the races from the club house.
The Hoehne FFA members in attendance were: Tyrel Barry, Bradley Muncy, Rachel Valencich, Candice Iuppa, Daniel Howell, Kimmi Walter, Chantel Brunelli and Chapter Advisor Mr. Steve Karspeck.
All who attended definitely had the time of their lives. They were able to walk away with an experience like no other, and are sure to remember this for years to come.
