Horsin’ Around
Fort Collins, Colo.

I have been hooked on the cowboy shooting for a couple of years and I think I have written a number of articles about being a part of the cowboy shoot and how much fun it is. It’s just like when I was in Hollywood except there are no motion picture cameras around and we are not following a script. I don’t have to worry about getting a costume because what they wear at the shoots is stuff I have worn all my life.
I had heard about horseback shooting but the only places seem to be a long way off. I am still sold out on this type of shooting. So I have been doing as much research as I can. This type of cowboy shoot is taking off and growing popular, especially out here in the Western part of the nation. That fact stood out when I went to the Horse Expo in Denver.
I just got back from Spokane, Washington where my step-son, Holin, got married to a gal, Rose, that seems to fit in to the family, all my kids went and insisted that I be there. Holin and Rose are into the cowboy shoot and had some of their buddies show up with six guns and shoot off, blanks, in the hall when the preacher pronounced them man and wife. What a show to remember. We had a blast, as we always do when the kids and I get together.
