Horsin’ Around

Roger Thompson
Fort Collins, Colo.

Now I just don’t like poisonous snakes ” Rattlesnakes, Cottonmouth Water Moccasins, Coral Snakes (related to the cobra), and Copperheads. But the ones I have been around the most are Rattlesnakes and Cottonmouths ” and I have a healthy respect for both. I know our Lord made them the way He did and I shouldn’t argue about His design; but I can’t help it and try to send as many back to Him as I can.

At an early age, I learned to watch out for snakes. I found out that rattlesnakes at least try to give you a warning by shaking their tails when threatened. But I have startled too many that didn’t have time to rattle.

Cottonmouths don’t give any warning and will just come after you; both have an angry disposition when disturbed.
