Hunter Education Instructor Training scheduled
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will train hunter education instructors across the state in coming weeks.
Apprentice volunteer firearm instructors will be trained at the Fort Niobrara National Wildlife Refuge, 39983 Refuge Rd., Valentine, Neb., on Aug. 10. Apprentice volunteer bow hunter instructors will be trained at Ak-Sar-Ben Aquarium, 21502 W. Nebraska Highway 31, Gretna, Neb., on July 19. Another bow hunter training will take place July 21 at the Game and Parks service center, 1617 First Ave., Kearney, Neb.
All training begins at 6 p.m. Registration deadline is the day before the workshop.
