Irrigated ag presentation to take place Thursday in Greeley
GREELEY – James Pritchett, an associate professor of agriculture and economics at Colorado State University, will speak on “Irrigated Agriculture in the South Platte Valley in 2050” Thursday in Greeley. The meeting – hosted by Weld County Farmers Union – will be held at Randy’s All American Grill, 2118 35th Ave.
Pritchett’s presentation will begin at 7:15 p.m. The public is invited to the presentation and to participate in the discussion of water issues. The public is also invited to a social hour that will begin at 6 p.m. that evening, followed by a “Dutch treat” dinner at 6:30 p.m.
