Jeffco 4-H offers Red Cross Babysitter training

Jefferson County 4-H and American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training Courses are scheduled at Jefferson County Fairgrounds, West 6th Avenue and Indiana Street in Golden, Colo. Six hours of courses have been scheduled for Feb. 15, March 25, and March 27. Registrations are being accepted online at http://www.ext.colostate.edu/jefferson/4h, or call the office (303) 271-6620.
Babysitter training is offered in partnership with the American Red Cross babysitters training course. Participants ages 11 through 15, learn skills essential for safe babysitting experiences, not only for the child being watched, but for the babysitter as well. The training includes developing decision making skills, learning safe babysitting practices, American Red Cross and 4-H Babysitters certification, as well as a lot of fun for all.
