The Pines Bar team, from Dubois, Wyo., and driven by Jim Stoker had the best combined time of the weekend of 45.96 seconds. Best overall time determined the Interstate Racing Association champion and won the Traveling Trophy which was presented by Betty Epler. The winner also received the Dave Pennock “Good Times” Trophy donated and presented by Rosemary Erickson-Hobbs.

George’s Crush team, driven by Dave Brant, won the Norman Epler Memorial Race, which was randomly designated as race eight on Sunday, with a time of 47.19. Betty Epler presented the hand-blown glass chariot team trophy, donated by Patty Lufkin.

For an added bit of humor, Turtle Awards were given to each day’s slowest team. Rusty’s Chicks driven by Rusty Sanderson, won the award both days, which was donated and presented by Jennifer and Packy Bowen.

Division winners also received cash prizes plus a souvenir clothing item. First place in each of the four divisions received $400 and jackets from Pepsi of Rawlins, Wyo.
