Mystery Photo 3-31-12
Tom Oates of Headland, Ala., wondered if any of our readers would know what this item is and how it is used.
If you think you know the answer and could use $10, then send your answer in to the Fence Post – Plains Edition’s Mystery Photo Contest.
The deadline for this month’s contest is Saturday, April 21, so feel free to send in your answers to take a shot at winning $10 from the Fence Post. We’ll toss all the correct answers in a hat and draw a winner. If no correct answers are received we’ll share the answer with our readers in next month’s Mystery Photo Contest and go on from there.
We received one entry in last month’s Mystery Photo Contest and our winner is Lyle Broeder or Hershey, Neb.
He identified the object as a dehorner used to dehorn goats and calves.
Punk Cody of Ellsworth, Neb., sent in this mystery photo. Thanks Punk Cody and congratulations Lyle Broeder!
We still need your help – and your Mystery Photos. If you have an antique piece of equipment, or know of an unusual or unique building or landmark (no photos of obscure landscapes) take a clear photo of it and send it to the Fence Post – Plains Edition’s Mystery Photo Contest.
If your photo is used we’ll send you $10 and your name and photo will get printed in the Fence Post for your friends and family to see and admire. All photos will be returned following publication.
