Bill Ugolini of Walsenburg, Colo., is wondering if any of our readers know anything about this mystery object. It is 3 and 1/2 inches long and about 1/4 inch wide and is made of aluminum.

Vance Teegerstrom of Stromsburg, Neb., identified the object as an antique railroad tie roller. It was used in building and repairing of railroads.
