We have a winner!

We received 38 entries for last month’s mystery photo, all correct!

Our winner, Herb Lightsey of Cheyenne, Wyo., identified the object as a wire fence stretcher. The chain is strapped around the anchor post and the clamp on the left end is attached to the barb wire to be pulled. The handle and two natches act as a ratchet to take up the slack one notch at a time.

Ray Warren of Ainsworth, Neb., sent in the object. Thanks for sharing this nostalgic photo with our readers.
