Noem drops opposition to hemp if conditions are set
-The Hagstrom Report
South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem has dropped her opposition to hemp growing in her state if certain “guardrails” are established, according to local media reports.
The four “guardrails” she included are reliable enforcement, responsible regulation, safe transportation and adequate funding, the Argus Leader reported.
Noem, a Republican, vetoed a hemp growing bill last year but said conditions have changed.
