Now is the time to take Hunter Education class

Several hunter and bow hunter education classes are scheduled across Nebraska in the upcoming months for those looking to fulfill that requirement.
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission recommends hunters plan ahead and take the course while plenty are available.
Anyone age 12 through 29 hunting anything with a firearm or crossbow must carry proof of completion of a firearm hunter education course while hunting. Any archery hunters of deer, antelope, elk, or bighorn sheep ages 12 through 29 must carry proof of completion of a bow hunter education course while hunting.
