Doris T. Kraemer, 89, of North Platte, died Aug. 3, 2009, at Centennial Park Retirement Village.

She was born July 30, 1920, in Julesburg, Colo., to E.H. and Ruth (Smith) Kinnie. She grew up in Julesburg.

She married Melvin Witthuhn and the couple lived in Julesburg. They moved to Denver, where she managed apartment buildings.

She later married Troy Kraemer in Denver, and they lived all over the country before settling back in Denver.

Survivors include her daughter, Deniece (Dave) Bargell of North Platte; sons, Mark Witthuhn of North Platte and Todd (Karen) Kraemer of Denver; brother, Leland (Nina) Kinnie of Denver; grandchildren, Jeff (Kathy) Bargell, Derek Bargell and Julie Bargell, and Jodi Evarts all of North Platte, Angie (Steve) Pendlenton of Windsor, Colo., and Katie (Chris) Van Buskirk of Omaha; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; siblings, Lynn Kinnie, Kenneth Kinnie, Eleanor Gillespie, Mary Zigler, Phyllis Brune, Lillian Jenkins and Evelyn McFee; and step-mother, Louie Kinnie.
