Colleen Lois Staudinger, age 61, of Greeley, Colo., died Feb. 14, 2008, at her home.

She was born on Aug. 5, 1946, in Ute, Iowa, to Cliff and Elsie (Kepp) Aronson. She lived in the Greeley area most of her life, and attended schools in Galeton and Eaton. She graduated from Eaton High School in 1964.

Colleen married Jim Staudinger on Oct. 12, 1968, in Greeley.

She worked at State Farm Insurance Company and Greeley Producers for many years.

Colleen loved rodeo and was a barrel racer, traveling all over to rodeos for many years. She enjoyed helping at the Weld County Fair and was very involved in her children’s school activities and sports functions.

She loved riding in the street rods that they owned and built. She also loved people.

Colleen is survived by her husband Jim of Greeley; mother Elsie Aronson of Payson, Ariz.; two sons, Troy and wife Natasha Staudinger of Greeley, and Ty Staudinger of Greeley; and grandchildren Kodey and Kaylee Staudinger.

She is also survived by one brother, Dick Aronson of Tollason, Ariz., one sister, Karen Aronson, also of Tollason; numerous brothers-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Colleen was preceded in death by her father.

Services were held on Feb. 20 in Greeley. Interment took place at Linn Grove Cemetery in Greeley.
